All our real ale is served direct from the tap room strait from the cask and it has to be said it is excellent. We always offer at least 8 cask ales to choose from. We have 5 resident ales and 3 guest ales plus ciders.

Resident Ales
1 Adnams Best Bitter ABV 3.5%
Fragrant aromas of finest English hops and malt. Dry but refreshing, with a distinctive lingering hoppiness. Appetising and delicious. Adnams The Bitter is a top ten selling cask beer in the UK and locals at the white hart cannot get enough of it!!

2. Adnams Broadside ABV 4.7%
Rich fruitcake aromas – almonds, zest and conserved fruit. A wonderful balance of malt and hop flavours. A pint to savour. An easy drinking pint rich in flavour. It is truly a fantastic pint there is no doubt about it!

3. Mighty Oak IPA ABV 3.5 %

4. Mighty Oak Oscar Wilde Mild ABV 3.6 %

5. Red Fox Hunters Gold ABV 3.9%
A new addition to my stable. Hunters Gold is brewed by Russell at The Red Fox Brewery.

All of his beers are popular and often feature on the guest list however although he originally brewed Fox & Hind for us it became clear that Hunters Gold was the firm favourite and now holds its own along side the other resident ales.

It is a great golden beer made from English Extra Pale malt with an orange, citrus aroma from Super Styrian Goldings.

Apples used include varieties such as Kingston Black,Medaille d’or, Cox, Bramley, Yarlington Mill Chivers Delight and Tom Putt to name a few. Great country style ciders with great charm, totally refreshing you will love it !!
